Iron Paws Return & Refund Policy

We want you and your dog to be thrilled with Iron Paws. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to fix it quickly and fairly.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly from ironpaws.co and shipped within the United States. If you purchased Iron Paws through Amazon or another retailer, please follow that retailer’s return process.


1. Standard Return Window

We accept returns and refund requests within 30 days of the delivery date.

After 30 days from delivery, we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement except in rare cases at our discretion.


2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

Because Iron Paws is a consumable pet supplement, we handle returns slightly differently depending on the situation.

a) Unopened Product (Buyer’s Remorse, Ordered by Mistake, etc.)

You may return unopened, unused bags of Iron Paws within 30 days of delivery for a refund.

Conditions:

  • Product must be in its original, sealed packaging.

  • Product must be in resellable condition (no writing on the bag, no damage from improper storage, etc.).

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs for these types of returns (see Section 4).

Once we receive and inspect the return, we’ll process your refund (see Section 5).

b) Opened Product / Satisfaction Issues

We cannot resell opened supplements for safety reasons, so in most cases we do not require you to ship open bags back.

If you’re not satisfied with Iron Paws for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery. For first-time purchases of a specific Iron Paws product, we may offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A refund of the product price (excluding original shipping), or

  • A replacement bag, or

  • Store credit for a future order.

We may ask for:

  • Photos of the product and packaging,

  • A brief explanation of the issue (dog didn’t like the taste, digestive issue, damaged in transit, etc.).

Abuse of the policy (e.g., repeated refund requests on multiple orders) may result in us declining future refunds or replacements.


3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged,

  • Defective, or

  • Not what you ordered,

please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will:

  • Replace the item at no cost to you, or

  • Offer a full refund,

and we will cover any applicable return shipping where the physical product needs to be sent back.

To speed things up, please include:

  • Your order number,

  • Photos of the outer packaging and the product,

  • A brief description of the issue.


4. Return Shipping Costs

  • For buyer’s remorse / change-of-mind / ordered wrong item:

    • You are responsible for return shipping costs.

    • You may use any trackable shipping method; we recommend keeping proof of postage.

  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items caused by us or the carrier:

    • We cover the cost of return shipping (if a return is required) or may waive the need to return the item and simply replace or refund instead.


5. Refund Method & Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, or once we confirm a resolution (for issues not requiring a physical return):

  • We will notify you by email that we have received your request or returned item, and

  • Approve or reject the refund based on this policy.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original method of payment whenever possible.

  • We aim to process refunds within 5–7 business days.

  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time (typically 3–10 business days) to post the funds to your account.

If your order included:

  • Discount codes, promotions, or free shipping, the refund will reflect the actual amount paid after discounts, not the full retail price.

We do not refund:

  • Original shipping costs (except where the error is ours — damaged/defective/incorrect shipments).


6. Subscriptions

If you have an Iron Paws subscription:

  • You can modify, pause, or cancel your subscription before the next renewal date using your account portal or by contacting us.

  • If a subscription order has already been processed or shipped, it will be treated under this same 30-day return & refund policy.

We aren’t able to guarantee cancellation of orders that have already entered the fulfillment process, but we’ll always work with you in good faith.


7. Marketplace Purchases (Amazon, etc.)

If you purchased Iron Paws through Amazon or any other third-party marketplace, their return and refund policy applies, and you must initiate your return directly through that platform. We are usually unable to directly refund orders we did not process.


8. How to Start a Return or Refund Request

To start a return or refund request, please contact us with:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Email address used at checkout

  • Reason for the return or refund request

  • Any photos that help show the issue (for damaged, defective, or incorrect items)

We try to respond to all return and refund inquiries within 1–2 business days.


9. Legal

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where local law provides additional rights beyond what is described here, those rights will still apply.
